Various areas for skiing, a lake which is crystal clear, an after ski culture which is lively and complete with all the activities of a sophisticated resort town produces a desirable winter modus vivendi in a striking environment.

In the first place, the area was a settlement for gold miners. The spectacular mountains encompassing this fashionable resort town beckon to boarders and skiers to their pinnacles.

Planes fly directly into Queenstown, from Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne are available for the convenience of its guests, whether for a winter ski holiday or just for a few days or several weeks.


Wanaka is just across the Crown Range coming from Queenstown.


It is a lakeshore town that operates as a 4-star world class snowboard and ski resort. Cardrona Alpine Resort is popular for its spacious neatened slopes, family air, terrain parks, and complete children’s center.


The chairlift which is high-speed in the Captain’s Basin signifies lesser time in waiting in queues and much more time spent on the slopes.


Snow Park NZ is just on the Pisa Range over the Cardrona Valley. This is the only resort in the Southern Hemisphere dedicated to freestyle skiers and boarders. On the 55 kilometers of Snow Farm are well-groomed cross country trails suitable not just to beginners but also to experts. Both Snow Farm and Snow Park provide on-mountain accommodations for a real overnight experience on an alpine mountain.
From the eastern Australian seaboard it is just 3 hours plane journey to Christchurch International Airport, the tourism gateway of New Zealand. Situated in the heart of the eat coast of the South Island, the beautiful metropolis of Christchurch is the best place to start when going on an unforgettable ski holiday in New Zealand. It is also a great place on which to start exploring one of several ski-fields in the big backyard of Christchurch, Canterbury.


Methven is just a hour’s drive from Christchurch Airport in Canterbury. It’s a great place for a perfect wintertime holiday. There’s a lot to do for a day or two off the mountain.
Cuddle against the magnificent Southern Alps’ lee, Methven is the best New Zealand heartland. Visitors are advised to take every day at their leisure and be refreshed by the invigorating alpine breeze. After the exertions of the day, go back to Methven where after ski activities are fun and relaxing with a lot of first-class restaurants, friendly local pubs, bars, and entertainment.
Located in the center of the North Island is Mount Ruapehu which is arguably the home of New Zealand's longest, biggest, and highest ski regions. Ski New Zealand is the only volcano located on two areas for skiing areas that can be got at with a single lift pass. These two ski areas are Turoa on the mountain’s south-west and Whakapapa on the north-western sides of the mountain. These resorts tout the lengthiest season, from the middle of June until the middle of October and sometimes there has been Christmas skiing, even during the middle of summer.
